Got into washing recently and I havent experienced winter with an IBA before but I've heard stories so I wanted to see what others have to say about it, like when temperatures are going below freezing, do you still rely on IBA? or would it be smarter for a customer to wait for a warm spell and wash at home or with touchless bays?

IBA isn't terrible in freezing temps but there are some things to keep in mind. The first one is that the system is properly maintained to ensure everything works optimally. The second part is to make sure the car is dry to avoid freezing the doors. Also, those brushed ones can be a problem because salts and dirt freezes on the brush itself and making the car's clearcoat looking like a mosaic.

@graylyx yeah, you can still use an IBA, but you have to be careful. The main risk is the water.
Even with the heated water and air dryers, a lot of water can get stuck in your door jambs, around your mirrors, and in your keyholes.
This can freeze and cause your doors to get stuck shut or even break your key if you try to force it. It's not a dealbreaker, but you need to be ready to act fast after the wash
