I am helping my old friend run his wash site in northern Texas with a PDQ LaserWash 360 Plus. But it's been a little crazy lately since it starts spraying right after the payment goes through, even before the car pulls in. Any idea what could cause that? Wondering if it's a sensor or software timing issue.

Try to check the sensor that activates when the vehicle is in the right position to start the wash, that's likely where the issue is

Could also be a simple software glitch in the wash program's delay settings. I'd check the entrance sensors for dirt, misalignment or wiring issues first, then look into the setup timing in the system's software. A quick reset or reprogramming might fix it.

I'd have the same suspicions as @wonderhooman.
It could be anything from a dirty lens, misaligned sensors to a software glitch or even a corrupted setting in the wash controller.
Have you had the chance to check your sensor readings in the diagnostics menu?
What about the entry delay settings?
